土曜日私とエライザはデートをしました。金曜日僕が貰ったメールが「明日の夜、エバレット街の史跡の劇場で『ファントム・オブ・ザ・オペラ』という古いサイレント映画が発表されている」と書いてあった。映画付け、誰かはパイプオルガンを弾く。面白そうだと思った。エバレットで家を買いたいからエバレットの活動に興味がある。だからエライザを誘った時、彼女もゼヒ行きたかった。この劇場は１９０１年から建っている。そんな劇場は凄いパイプオルガンがある。あると言っても実は劇場の建物がパイプオルガンだ。上に見たら、天井が少し変な形と思った。映画を始まって前にパイプオルガンについての詳しい説明を貰った。パイプオルガンの低音の音が建物の後ろから天井に行って出す。オルガンの音だけではなかった。鈴やドラムも出来た。映画も面白かったが、パイプオルガンはすごいと思った。
映画の後でお腹が空いたから、隣のアイリッシュの居酒屋に行った。外でもうるさい歌っている人を聞こえた。しょうがなくて、入っていた。誰かギターを弾いていながら、飲んでいる人は歌う事を手伝っていた。不思議だった。ポテトの農の仕事からお疲れって来た感じで、友達と皆が分かった昔曲を一緒に歌う感じの空気だった。
だって、エバレット街は楽しそうだと思う。
On Saturday Eliza and I went on a date. On Friday I got an email, “Tomorrow night at Everett Historical Theater the old silent film ‘Phantom of the Opera’ will be shown,” it read. Someone would be playing a pipe organ to accompany the movie. I thought that sounded interesting. I want to buy a house in Everett, so I have an interest in Everett activities. When I invited Eliza she too was happy to join. The theater was built in 1901. That type of theater has a super pipe organ. Well I sat that it has one, but really the building is a pipe organ. When I looked up I thought the ceiling had a slightly odd shape. Before the movie started we received a detailed explanation of the pipe organ. The low notes from the organ came from the back of the building and out through the ceiling. It didn’t just make organ sounds. It also had bells and drums that it could do. The movie was also interesting, but the pipe organ was amazing. 
After the movie we were hungry, so we went next door to an Irish pub. Even outside you could hear people singing noisily. We had no choice but to enter. Someone was playing guitar while people drinking were helping to sing the songs. It was strange. It was the feeling of getting off of work at the potato farm exhausted, and your friends and everyone understanding those old songs you sing together. It was that type of atmosphere.
That is to say that the town of Everett seems quite enjoyable.
